The First Day of School...What a bittersweet moment!
The girls were very excited to start school again and while we were all ready for some structure in our lives again, it was sad to see them go. We had a great and fun summer and we were sorry to see it end. Abby is going into the 3rd grade and is so excited to eat lunch with whomever she wants (no more assigned seats) and join the choir. Lilly was very excited to be in kindergarten. She has a great teacher, Mrs. Muller and will have lots of fun. Mom will sure miss having her around...
Abigail and Lauren on the last day of summer at Water World.
Lilly and Kaslyn sharing a moment at Water World together.
We were blessed this summer to see our great friends from Maryland...Debbie, Andrew and Rori West.
My dear friend Lori and I took some time for ourselves and met in Colorado Springs for a girls weekend full of shopping, eating and laughing!

A fun day at the zoo with our friends, the Blood-Smyths!

Each year we go to Glendo, Wyoming with about 10 families and boat, water-ski, wakeboard, jet-ski, tube and eat. We always have a great time and the kids love being up there in the sand and catching hissing june-bugs at night!
Abby showing some love for her girlfriend Lauren during a "pit stop" on the way to Glendo, Wyoming when a tire blew on the trailer that was carrying a boat...was it ever HOT!
You don't see this everyday in the suburbs! Megan's grandma brought down her horse and let the girls ride her down the neighborhood street. The horse decided to "dump" right in front of our house...that was fun!
Lilly loves dogs and especially "bonded" with Elizabeth's dog, Market. We are not sure it was a mutual feeling because Market ran every time he saw her coming!
Tanner relaxing at Grandma Judy's during our 4th of July vacation!

We had another great Fourth of July in Boscobel...everyone did the race and then had a fun day at the parade and the park. We ended the night with traditional Boscobel fireworks!
Lilly wanted to try t-ball this summer and she did a great job. Her and Kyra were the youngest on the team (and the cutest). By the end of the season, we think they finally got the concept!
Abby in her 3rd year on the Signal Creek Swim Team...she did awesome. She swam her first 100 individual medley (butterfly, back stroke, breast stroke and free style). We were awfully impressed that she tried it and finished!

We started off the summer with a trip to Boyd Lake to test out the new jet ski's...the girls loved playing in the mud and riding on the jet skis for the first time.
